Uyuni
Uyuni is much more than the anteroom of the Salar. This city is also known as “Bolivia’s favorite daughter,” since Uyuni’s women played a decisive role in assisting and taking care of Bolivian soldiers during the Chaco War. From its railway culture through its signature clock to the curious tale of Miskki Simi (the cholita with “delicious lips”), Uyuni’s various nuances deserve to regain the attentive and loving eyes of its visitors.
We come from a big family
Jardines de Uyuni belongs to a family of brands in the Tourism, Hotel and Gastronomy industries. Our mission is to provide visitors with holistic experiences that include anything from amazing tours to comfortable and fully-equipped accommodations, as well as a taste of culinary traditions that will conquer any palate. When travelers truly connect with Bolivia and achieve peace of mind, we see our mission accomplished.
You’re welcome to visit any of our three hotels: Jardines de Uyuni, located in Uyuni town; Mallku Cueva, the perfect getaway to connect with the magic of nature; and Palacio de Sal, the very first hotel in the world made entirely of salt. Additionally, we also run Hidalgo Tours, our travel agency, and Tika, our full-service restaurant.
